Wettex®, founded in Sweden in 1949, is still known today for its absorbent sponge cloths. The first cloths were developed by Curt Lindquist, who was looking for an environmentally friendly and effective alternative to conventional household cleaning cloths. 

Wettex® is still manufactured in Norrköping, Sweden. The sponge cloths are made from sustainable cellulose and recycled cotton and are 100% biodegradable and compostable. Thanks to their high absorbency and reusability, they contribute to resource-efficient cleaning.
